Stem cell therapy is the newest, most effective treatment for anyone who wants to turn back the clock, recover from injuries and illness, or rebuild and rejuvenate tissues. Stem cells can be used for skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, sports medicine, and athletic recovery. Treatment successes with stem cells include cartilage regeneration, knee and shoulder pain, back pain, muscle, ligament and tendon tears and more. The aesthetics applications of stem cells also exceed PRP applications!
Dr. Jay Pennock, founder of Rejuvenate Medi-Spa & Wellness, has teamed up with the best FDA certified and CLIA registered laboratory at Predictive Biotech to guarantee that his clients will receive the safest, most effective stem cell therapy available. After a year of using this cutting-edge technology, his clients are really seeing the benefits.
How does it work?
As we age our cells and tissues lose functionality due to injury, toxins and disease. In addition, our own stem cells die off from around 3 million when we are born to a few thousand in later life. That can mean longer healing time, cellular aging, and increased local and diffuse inflammation. Navigator and Rejuvenate aim to optimize the body’s ability to heal itself by replacing these missing cells with stem cells from Wharton’s Jelly of umbilical cord tissue which is the richest source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in the body. A simple injection of stem cells achieves these results by supplying the body with not only these potent cells but hyaluronic acid which helps skin tissue and joints, growth factors, and cytokines that complement growth factors to replenish and restore all types of tissue.
What kind of treatments are offered?
Stem cell therapy at Navigator can be administered in the form of a “Wellness Shot.” The MSCs are injected intramuscularly and then they migrate on their own to the areas of the body with inflammation that need healing. This reduces inflammation in all parts of the body, inflammation that significantly affects functionality and creates the sense that things just aren’t working as well as they did when you were younger. This simple, in-office procedure requires no anesthesia and no recovery time, and the risk of allergic reaction is minimal. About three months after the treatment, people report feeling younger, more revitalized and can experience improvement in multiple areas of physical performance.
For specific joint issues such as shoulder or knee injuries, Dr. Pennock can inject directly into the affected joint. The Stem Cells along with Amniotic Fluid containing many concentrated growth factors, cytokines, and hyaluronic acid facilitate healing in these joints and many studies are showing significant improvement in pain and mobility after MSC injections! This may help clients delay or avoid costly and painful surgeries.
Aesthetic treatments using Stem Cells and Amniotic Fluid are also extremely helpful in anti-aging therapy. Rejuvenate Medi-Spa uses amniotic fluid in place of PRP for “vampire facials”. No blood needs to be drawn from you and we use invigorating youth serum to stimulate your skin to regain its elasticity and vibrancy. A combination of MSC and amniotic fluid is injected into the scalp to help reactivate your hair follicles and regrow your own hair!
Why use Umbilical Cord MSCs?
There are a few reasons that Predictive Biotech's MSCs are superior to those from your own body. First, placenta derived MSC don’t require the surgical downtime required by these other stem cell procedures such as bone marrow aspiration or adipose (fat) tissue biopsies. Secondly, there is increasing evidence that older stem cells, such as those in the body of an adult, have decreased repair capacity and are more susceptible to degenerative diseases. The MSCs found in your body are particularly susceptible to the accumulation of cellular damage, which can lead to loss of regenerative function. In contrast, neonatal MSCs such as Wharton’s jelly-derived MSCs are spared from these age-related problems simply because they are younger.
